Since 2002, one of the nation's largest retailers relies on Apex's proven ability to tackle their stormwater management needs.  Supporting and protecting our client at more than750 locations in 31 states, Apex operates on site to ensure stormwater management systems are installed and performing at peak proficiency, reducing ongoing maintenance costs.

Selected by the National Association of Environmental Professionals for the 2011 Environmental Excellence Award for Environmental Stewardship, Apex completed the investigation and remediation of a 4.5-acre abandoned brownfield site severely contaminated from years of industrial use.  Preliminary remediation estimates exceeding $ 20 million prevented remediation and redevelopment of the site.  Apex’s investigation enabled development of a remedial action plan acceptable to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the city for $ 3.1 million – less than 15% of the previous estimates.  Funded by a combination of a one-time grant and PRP contributions, Apex completed the clean-up under a guaranteed lump sum, fixed price contract.
