Callie has more than 12 years’ experience in environmental consulting for government, industry, and private clients, and she has served as a senior project manager for numerous projects, from Clean Water Act compliance to US Army Corps of Engineers initiatives, all while chasing after her toddler and working on DIY home renovation.

Sanford has over 30 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, and mergers and acquisitions, which he utilizes in his role at Apex overseeing the New York environmental services business line. His work has given him the opportunity to travel extensively in the US and internationally, so if you’re looking for good food, Sanford has no shortage of recommendations for fellow foodies.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Carmen handles projects on everything from asbestos removal to securing the habitats of endangered species, and she has been a pioneer of Apex’s sustainability program. Carmen also volunteers in the community with Women in the Environment and teaches at the Columbia Slough Watershed Council School, all while juggling her five‑year‑old twins.
